What is the fuel tank capacity of the Changan Honor?

The 2021 Changan Honor models all have a fuel tank capacity of 42 liters. The entire lineup is equipped with a 1.5L naturally aspirated engine and a 5-speed manual transmission (MT). All models feature a front-engine, rear-wheel-drive layout. In the same vehicle class, the 2021 Wuling Hongguang V has a fuel tank capacity of 45 liters, the 2019 Wuling Rongguang V also has a 45-liter tank, and the 2018 Foton Gratour ix5 has a 50-liter fuel tank. During actual refueling, the amount of fuel may exceed the marked capacity. This is because the fuel tank capacity specified by the manufacturer is measured from the bottom of the tank to the safe fill level. There is additional space from the safe fill level to the tank opening, which is designed to allow for fuel expansion when temperatures rise, preventing overflow. If fuel is filled up to the tank opening during refueling, the actual amount may exceed the marked capacity. To check the remaining fuel level, drivers can observe the fuel gauge on the right side of the instrument panel, marked with E (Empty) and F (Full). When the needle approaches E, it indicates low fuel, while nearing F means the tank is nearly full.
