What is the fuel tank capacity of the BYD Tang DM in liters?

There are currently 3 models of the BYD Tang DM available for sale, all with a fuel tank capacity of 53 liters. The vehicle is equipped with a 2.0-liter turbocharged engine and a 6-speed wet dual-clutch transmission (DCT) across all models. All variants feature dual-motor four-wheel drive with a front-mounted four-wheel-drive system. Among vehicles in the same class, the Li ONE 2021 model has a fuel tank capacity of 55 liters, the Ford Edge 2021 has 69 liters, and the Tank 300 2021 has 80 liters. During actual refueling, the amount of fuel may exceed the calibrated capacity. This is because the fuel tank capacity marked by automakers is measured from the bottom of the tank to the safety limit level. There is additional space from the safety limit to the tank opening, which is designed to allow for fuel expansion when temperatures rise, preventing overflow. If fuel is filled up to the tank opening during refueling, the actual refueling volume may exceed the calibrated tank capacity. To check the remaining fuel level, drivers can observe the fuel gauge on the right side of the instrument panel, marked with E and F. When the needle approaches E, it indicates low fuel, while nearing F means sufficient fuel.
