The fuel consumption of the Haval H5 gasoline 2.0t is 11-13L per 100 kilometers. There are three methods to reduce vehicle fuel consumption: 1. Minimize vehicle weight: Keep the interior simple and avoid carrying unnecessary items, as every additional kilogram increases fuel consumption by 1%; 2. Avoid excessive modifications: Adding spoilers, protective covers, or wings can disrupt the original aerodynamic design, increasing wind resistance and consuming extra fuel. Modifying lighting systems increases electrical load and unnecessary fuel consumption; 3. Develop good driving habits: Avoid sudden acceleration, driving at high speeds in low gears, prolonged idling, frequent lane changes, or braking. Aim for smooth starts, steady-speed driving, and reduced braking.

I've been driving the Haval H5 gasoline 2.0T version for over a year now. For daily urban commuting, the fuel consumption is around 11-13L per 100 kilometers, while on the highway it drops to about 9L, averaging around 10.5L overall. When using the air conditioning or in heavy traffic, it can rise above 14L. The power response is quite strong, but it does consume a bit more fuel. I usually keep my speed between 60-80 kilometers, avoiding sudden acceleration, and refuel once a week. Overall, I find it acceptable. When I bought the car, I knew SUVs tend to have higher fuel consumption, but they offer better handling and more space, making them practical for long trips. If I carry less cargo and use the eco mode, the fuel consumption can be even lower, and keeping it under 10L is not impossible. In short, this car isn't fuel-efficient but it's not outrageous either, making it suitable for daily driving if you prefer strong power.

Can the carbon canister be removed from an EFI motorcycle?

Yes. Removing the carbon canister from a motorcycle has little effect on the performance of the vehicle, but it will increase the content of harmful gases in the exhaust. The function of the carbon canister in an EFI motorcycle: The carbon canister prevents fuel molecules from entering the air and causing pollution, and it also recycles the adsorbed fuel molecules. Handling the carbon canister during exhaust testing for an EFI motorcycle: If the exhaust test might exceed the standard, there are no issues in other aspects. If the carbon canister has tubes connected to the intake pipe or carburetor, simply block those tubes. However, do not block the tube connected to the fuel tank, as this could slow down fuel delivery. Of course, if the fuel tank cap vents properly, there will be no problem.

Does the Electronic Parking Brake Automatically Engage When Shifting to P Gear?

Yes, this is normal. Electronic parking brakes have this feature, where the parking brake automatically engages when the vehicle's gear is shifted back to P. How the Electronic Parking Brake Works: It achieves parking braking through electronic means. The working principle of the electronic parking brake is actually the same as that of the mechanical parking brake, both using brake calipers to secure the brake disc. The only difference lies in the operation method, transitioning from the traditional mechanical approach to an electronic one. Advantages of the Electronic Parking Brake: It is very convenient to use. The electronic parking brake saves space, freeing up room for other components. It is highly technological, with simple and easy operation. The electronic parking brake has become a standard feature in many modern car models, operating through sensors.

What are the reasons for the motor brake not opening?

Reasons include issues with the brake system circuit, damaged brake relay, positioning problems with the brake motor, etc. Detailed reasons and solutions for the motor brake not opening are as follows: Brake system circuit issues: There is a problem with the brake system circuit, which is not synchronized with the motor's main control circuit. Check the wiring to ensure they are synchronized. Brake relay damage: The brake relay is damaged. This requires inspection and replacement at a repair shop. Positioning requirements for the brake motor: The brake motor has high-precision positioning requirements. It should feature rapid braking, accurate positioning, safety and reliability, interchangeable use, simple structure, and easy replacement and maintenance.

Can Fuel Additives Clean Carbon Deposits?

Fuel additives can clean carbon deposits. Fuel additives have a certain ability to clean carbon deposits, especially for minor carbon buildup, where using legitimate additives can achieve satisfactory results. The purpose of fuel additives is to address carbon deposit issues in the fuel system of fuel-injected vehicles, quickly restore the engine to optimal working conditions, and compensate for some deficiencies in gasoline properties. They also enhance gasoline by improving atomization, reducing wear, protecting the engine, and lowering emissions. The functions of fuel additives include: 1. Removing carbon deposits from the vehicle; 2. Reducing abnormal engine wear; 3. Improving atomization efficiency; 4. Lowering vehicle emissions; 5. Extending the service life of the vehicle's engine.

What is the method for jump-starting a car battery?

Jump-starting a car battery involves the following steps: 1. Position the car with a functional battery next to the car with a dead battery, ensuring the front ends are facing each other and close; 2. Open the hoods of both cars and take out the jumper cables; 3. Locate the batteries in both vehicles, then attach the negative clamps to the negative terminals of both car batteries and the positive clamps to the positive terminals; 4. Start the car with the functional battery, charge for a few minutes, then attempt to start the car with the dead battery. The functions of a car battery include: 1. Providing power to the starting system, ignition system, and electronic fuel injection system when starting the engine; 2. Supplying power to the car's electrical equipment when the engine is off or idling at low speed; 3. Providing power to electrical devices when the alternator's output is insufficient; 4. Absorbing voltage spikes in the electrical system to protect the car's electronic devices; 5. Storing excess electricity generated by the alternator.
