What is the fuel consumption of the Haval Chitu?

The fuel consumption of the Haval Chitu is 4-6L per 100 kilometers. The fuel consumption per 100 kilometers refers to the amount of fuel consumed by a vehicle traveling 100 kilometers on the road at a certain speed, which is a theoretical indicator of the vehicle. The fuel consumption per 100 kilometers is measured under objective conditions by a dynamometer installed on the vehicle's chassis, converted into speed parameters, and then calculated as the theoretical experimental fuel consumption data for the vehicle model at specified speeds. Here is the corresponding relationship between vehicle fuel consumption: 1. Fuel consumption and displacement: Fuel consumption is related to displacement, but this relationship is not absolute. A larger cylinder volume (displacement) can accommodate more combustible mixture (air-fuel), so under otherwise identical conditions, an engine with a larger cylinder volume (displacement) will inevitably have higher fuel consumption. 2. Fuel consumption and engine speed: During daily driving, the engine speed generally ranges between 1000-3000 RPM. The maximum speed of ordinary family cars is only around 6000 RPM. During racing, maintaining speeds at twice the limit of family cars (over 10,000 RPM) will naturally result in very high fuel consumption. 3. Fuel consumption and vehicle modifications: Widening and enlarging tires increases the friction of the tires, which is equivalent to increasing the load on the car, directly increasing fuel consumption. Additionally, some owners modify their cars with features like rear spoilers and body kits. Adding a rear spoiler undoubtedly increases the car's wind resistance. At low speeds, the spoiler has no effect and only increases driving resistance, thereby increasing the overall load and inevitably leading to higher fuel consumption.

I've been driving the Haval Chitu for almost half a year now. For daily commuting in the city, the fuel consumption is around 9 liters per 100 kilometers, but on weekends when I hit the highway, it easily drops to less than 6.5 liters. I think the engine is quite efficient, but the fuel gauge drops quickly in traffic jams, and using the air conditioning adds nearly an extra liter of fuel. Driving habits make a big difference—gradual acceleration and deceleration save a lot compared to stomping on the gas pedal. I've also noticed that keeping tire pressure above 2.5 Bar helps reduce fuel consumption. Don’t overlook regular maintenance; cleaning the air filter periodically can also help save some fuel. On long trips, a full tank can easily cover over 500 kilometers, making it a practical family choice with spacious interiors and relatively fuel-friendly performance.

What Causes a Gasoline Smell Inside the Car?

The reasons for a gasoline smell inside the car are as follows: 1. Fuel vapor return pipe: The carbon canister fuel vapor return pipe in the engine compartment is cracked. 2. Fuel supply line: There is a leak in the fuel supply line. This condition usually occurs in older vehicles aged 3-5 years or more. 3. Rubber hose: The rubber hose from the fuel filler neck to the fuel tank in the trunk may have aged or the connector clamp may have loosened. Replacing the hose or tightening the clamp should resolve the issue. 4. Carburetor: The float chamber in the carburetor cannot stop the inflow of gasoline when full. Please take the vehicle to a workshop to clean the carburetor. Another possibility is that the fuel filter cup is overflowing due to excessive dirt, in which case the filter element needs to be replaced.

Can a China 5 vehicle continue to drive after running out of urea?

A China 5 vehicle cannot be driven after running out of urea. The function of urea solution is to chemically react with nitrogen oxides in vehicle exhaust to produce non-toxic nitrogen and water, thereby reducing the emission of toxic gases in vehicle exhaust and minimizing pollution. The SCR solution has significant advantages in the China IV diesel vehicle exhaust emission treatment system, and vehicle urea is an essential additive for the SCR solution. Precautions: 1. Regularly check the urea level in the urea tank and replenish urea solution in time. The consumption of vehicle urea solution is 4%-6% of diesel consumption. Estimate the amount of urea solution needed based on the trip and carry sufficient barrel urea solution if necessary. 2. When refilling vehicle urea solution, use a dedicated urea solution filling pipe to prevent impurities from mixing in. 3. Vehicle urea solution is alkaline and slightly corrosive. Avoid contact with metals (except stainless steel), as these materials react with trace amounts of ammonia in the urea solution to form compounds that affect SCR operation.

How to Remove Wax from Plastic?

Use a hairdryer or heat gun to melt the car wax on the plastic parts of the vehicle. Then, wipe it clean with high-quality tissue paper or a highly absorbent cotton towel. It is important to control the temperature carefully when heating the wax on the plastic parts of the vehicle. Apply an appropriate amount of shoe polish to a toothbrush and scrub the waxed plastic parts back and forth. The wax will be removed quickly. An eraser is also a great tool for removing car wax, and the operation is the simplest—just rub the eraser back and forth over the wax that needs to be removed.
