The actual fuel consumption of the Excelle 1.3t is around 8 liters per 100 kilometers. During actual driving, due to external factors such as driving habits and road conditions, the actual fuel consumption often differs from the theoretical value indicated. The factors affecting fuel consumption are as follows: 1. Rough roads consume more fuel: If the road is congested or uneven, and the vehicle is driven in low gear for a long time, it will inevitably increase fuel consumption; 2. Using the trunk as a storage increases fuel consumption: Treating the trunk as a warehouse and stuffing it with all kinds of items, whether useful or not, increases the vehicle's weight. It's important to note that vehicle weight is directly proportional to fuel consumption. For every 10% reduction in vehicle weight, fuel consumption will correspondingly decrease by several percentage points.

I've been driving the Excelle 1.3T for nearly three years now, with an average fuel consumption of about 7.8L/100km for daily urban commuting. The fuel consumption increases slightly when using air conditioning in summer, and can reach up to 9L during severe traffic jams during peak hours. However, it's particularly fuel-efficient on highways - during the Dragon Boat Festival long-distance trip with cruise control engaged, the displayed fuel consumption was only 5.7L. The engine start-stop function does save some fuel when waiting at red lights, so I recommend keeping it enabled.

What transmission does the Changan Yuexiang use?

Changan Yuexiang uses a 5-speed manual transmission and a 5-speed dual-clutch transmission. The dual-clutch transmission has an additional set of clutches and shift control mechanism compared to the manual transmission. One clutch in the dual-clutch transmission controls even-numbered gears, while the other controls odd-numbered gears. There are two types of dual-clutch transmissions: dry and wet. The clutch plates in a dry dual-clutch transmission are not immersed in transmission oil, whereas those in a wet dual-clutch transmission are. The wet dual-clutch transmission offers better heat dissipation and can handle higher torque.

Does the Highlander have an auto-hold function?

Highlander does not have an auto-hold function. Here are the relevant details: 1. Definition: The auto-hold function is designed to prevent unnecessary vehicle slippage without requiring the driver to maintain prolonged braking or manually engage the electronic parking brake. 2. Working Principle: The AUTO-HOLD feature uses a slope sensor to provide precise parking force via the control unit. During startup, the parking control unit calculates data from the clutch distance sensor, clutch engagement speed sensor, throttle pedal sensor, etc. It automatically releases the parking brake when the driving force exceeds the running resistance, enabling smooth vehicle acceleration. This significantly reduces the time wasted on manual judgment based on experience.
