The actual fuel consumption of the Elysee is 7.8 liters per 100 kilometers. In terms of space, the Elysee features a longer wheelbase of 2652mm and an oversized knee room of 787mm. Its wider body of 1748mm provides ample lateral space, excellent body stability, and a solid foundation for handling. In terms of power, the new EC5 1.6L CVVT efficient engine delivers a maximum power of up to 86kW/6000rpm, offering strong performance while significantly reducing fuel consumption. The application of numerous advanced technologies ensures excellent power performance, fuel economy, smoothness, and reliability. Inheriting Citroen's globally renowned chassis tuning technology, the new Elysee combines reliable handling with comfortable driving. The asymmetric suspension, designed to mimic the human walking frequency (1Hz), provides consumers with superior driving experiences, including stable handling, minimal body roll during cornering, and high comfort. It also endows the new Elysee with adaptability to all speeds and terrains.

I drive an older 1.6L manual transmission Elysee. In summer with AC on, it consumes around 8.5L/100km in city driving, but drops to just over 6L on highways. The engine technology is indeed a bit outdated, but it's reliable and durable. With a 53L fuel tank, it can easily cover 600+ kilometers on a full tank. However, fuel consumption really depends on driving habits - my neighbor with the same model always complains about 9L/100km+, but I later found out he's always stomping on the gas and braking hard. I'd recommend installing a fuel tracking app like Xiong Xiong for accurate measurements - road conditions alone can make a 2L difference.

What does BYD EV mean?

BYD EV specifically means the following: 1. BYD EV is the abbreviation for Electric-Vehicle, which directly translates to electric vehicle. Essentially, all models powered by electric motors can be referred to as EV. 2. The two most prominent parts of an electric vehicle are the electric motor and the battery. The electric motor is akin to the engine of a conventional fuel-powered car, while the battery that provides energy can be seen as the fuel tank. Below is some extended information about HEV: 1. HEV or HV stands for hybrid electric vehicle, which relies on both fuel and a battery to power the car. 2. A hybrid vehicle adds a battery and an electric motor to a conventional fuel-powered car. The battery capacity is usually relatively small but does not require external charging; it can automatically recharge by recovering energy during driving. 3. Since HEV batteries have a small capacity, the main role of the electric motor is to assist the fuel engine during driving, achieving fuel savings and improving acceleration and uphill performance. The car only enters pure electric mode when driving at low speeds.

Is a Wheel Alignment Necessary When Replacing All Four Tires on a Car?

For tire wear caused by normal driving, replacing all four tires does not require a wheel alignment, and in fact, performing one would not be particularly beneficial. However, it is common for a free wheel alignment to be offered when replacing all four tires at once. Therefore, you may choose to have a wheel alignment done, but only if it is offered for free. More detailed information is as follows: A wheel alignment is meaningful only when the vehicle exhibits the following phenomena: 1. Abnormal tire wear, such as uneven wear on one side; 2. The vehicle pulls to one side during normal driving; 3. The steering wheel is not centered when driving straight; 4. The vehicle's suspension system has been involved in a collision; 5. Multiple components of the suspension system have been replaced, such as the control arm or tie rods.

At how many kilometers is the second maintenance for a new car?

More information about the second maintenance of a car is as follows: 1. After the second maintenance, the performance of the new car is basically stable, and subsequent maintenance is usually performed every 10,000 to 15,000 kilometers. 2. Can You Directly Add Engine Oil If It's Low?

If the engine oil level is low, you can directly add it yourself. However, when adding oil, make sure to keep it slightly below the mark on the dipstick. The steps for adding engine oil yourself are as follows: 1. Run the engine until it reaches the required operating temperature. Then, use a jack to lift the vehicle, engage the handbrake, and secure the front wheels with wooden wedges. 2. Place a container for the old oil under the oil pan, locate the oil pan drain bolt, and slowly unscrew it. 3. Move the oil container under the oil filter, put on gloves, and use an oil filter wrench to loosen the filter, then gently unscrew it. 4. Choose the appropriate oil filter for your vehicle based on the user manual. 5. Apply new oil to the gasket of the new filter. 6. The final step is to pour the new oil into the oil pan.
