What is the fastest way to identify retreaded tires?

You can look at the markings on the sidewall of the tire. You can also check for tread hairs; new tires have tread hairs while retreaded tires cannot replicate them. Another method is to observe the glossiness of the tire tread pattern. Additionally, you can inspect the joint between the tire sidewall and the tread. The connection area on retreaded tires is not as smooth and even as on new tires.
