The Xingyue L is equipped with Volvo's Drive-E series 2.0TD four-cylinder turbocharged engine across the entire lineup. The 2.0TD engine in the Xingyue L offers two tuning versions: the 2.0TD-T4 engine with a maximum power of 160 kW and a peak torque of 325 Nm, and the 2.0TD-T5 engine with a maximum power of 175 kW and a peak torque of 350 Nm. In terms of the transmission system, the two engines are paired with a 7-speed wet dual-clutch transmission (DCT) and an Aisin 8AT transmission, respectively. The dimensions of the Xingyue L are as follows: length 4770 mm, width 1895 mm, height 1689 mm, with a wheelbase of 2845 mm. Working principle: A turbocharger is essentially an air compressor that increases the intake air volume by compressing air. It utilizes the inertial force of the exhaust gases expelled by the engine to drive the turbine in the turbine chamber, which in turn drives the coaxial impeller. The impeller compresses the air delivered from the air filter pipe, pressurizing it before it enters the cylinder. As the engine speed increases, the exhaust gas expulsion speed and turbine speed also increase synchronously, allowing the impeller to compress more air into the cylinder. The increased air pressure and density enable the combustion of more fuel, and by correspondingly increasing the fuel quantity and adjusting the engine speed, the engine's output power can be enhanced.
