Jeep Compass currently has two emission standards for sale: China V and China VI. The introduction of China V and China VI emission standards is as follows: China V emission standard: The carbon monoxide emissions per kilometer of driving must not exceed 1000 milligrams; the non-methane hydrocarbon emissions per kilometer of driving must not exceed 68 milligrams; the nitrogen oxide emissions per kilometer of driving must not exceed 60 milligrams; the PM fine particulate matter emissions per kilometer of driving must not exceed 4.5 milligrams. China VI emission standard: The carbon monoxide emissions per kilometer of driving are 500 milligrams; the nitrogen oxide emissions per kilometer of driving are 35 milligrams; the fine particulate matter emissions per kilometer of driving are 3 milligrams; the non-methane hydrocarbon emissions per kilometer of driving are 35 milligrams.
