What is the emergency method when the Emgrand one-button start does not respond?

Place the key remote as close as possible to the start switch button. Depress the clutch pedal (MT) or brake pedal (CVT). Press the start switch button to start the engine.
Last time I encountered a situation where the one-button start didn't respond, first check if the key fob battery is dead. Try placing the key close to the start button because sometimes it can't be detected. Then make sure to press the brake pedal - my friend always forgets this. If the steering wheel is locked, try turning it while attempting to start. Next, check if the gear is in P position - don't try to start in D gear. Finally, verify the battery condition. If the voltage is too low, even the dashboard lights won't turn on, and you'll need to call for jump-start assistance or use an emergency power source. If you really can't figure it out, don't force it - safety first. It's better to call a professional technician to take a look.
