What is the ECTPWR mode?

ECTPWR is the activation status of the car's sport driving mode. The ECT (Electronic Throttle Control) system has three modes: 1. ECT Normal Mode: Used for regular driving to save fuel; 2. Power Mode: Enhances acceleration and sporty driving; 3. Snow Mode: Designed for slippery road conditions, where it appropriately controls the rear wheels' rotation. When the car is in ECTPWR gear, it makes the throttle response more aggressive or stabilizes the shift RPM to deliver stronger power. It also alters the chassis's filtering effect by stiffening the shock absorber damping to achieve more direct road feedback.
That ECT PWR button is actually a pretty cool feature in the car, officially called the Electronically Controlled Transmission Power mode, but most people just refer to it as Power mode. Pressing this button makes the transmission more responsive—delaying gear shifts, revving the engine higher, and delivering strong acceleration with a noticeable push-back feeling when you step on the gas, making overtaking a breeze. I tried it on the highway the other day, and the car instantly felt like a beast, with much-improved handling. However, fuel consumption spikes when it's activated, especially in city traffic, so I only use it on highways or when I want some extra excitement. Avoid using it in rain or on slippery roads, as it can cause skidding—safety first. Overall, it's a great feature for adding driving excitement, but don’t overuse it.
