ECO stands for the car's economic driving mode. It is an English abbreviation derived from the combination of Ecology (environmental protection), Conservation (energy saving), and Optimization (power). The Eco mode is further divided into active Eco driving mode and non-active Eco driving mode. When the Eco indicator light on the dashboard illuminates, it indicates that the vehicle's economic mode has been activated. Eco mode is categorized into active and non-active types. The difference lies in the fact that the active type has its own dedicated button, allowing the driver to choose whether to activate it. When the driver presses the Eco mode switch, the dashboard indicator light immediately turns on, and the vehicle automatically begins adjusting settings such as throttle opening, transmission shift logic, and air conditioning output power. Non-active Eco mode does not have a dedicated button. When the Eco indicator light on the dashboard illuminates, it serves merely as a reminder function. The Eco system automatically evaluates your driving behavior. If your current driving operation achieves the optimal fuel supply, the dashboard will simultaneously display the Eco indicator light. Most cars utilize the active Eco driving mode, meaning they have their own switch button. Therefore, during daily driving, we can generally activate the Eco mode. However, it is unnecessary to enable Eco mode when driving at speeds exceeding 120 km/h, during idle parking, in N/P gear, or in manual mode—especially when climbing hills. Doing so would not only fail to demonstrate the fuel-saving characteristics of Eco mode but could also negatively impact the vehicle's power performance. Additionally, the Eco mode typically becomes ineffective under the following circumstances: When the vehicle speed exceeds 120 kilometers per hour, the car prioritizes speed, causing the Eco mode to automatically deactivate. During idle parking or when in N/P gear or manual mode, the Eco mode may also become ineffective. When high torque output is required, such as when climbing a hill, the engine control unit prioritizes ensuring sufficient power to drive the vehicle, and the Eco mode will not function in such scenarios.

Why does the car display low battery voltage?

The reasons for the car displaying low battery voltage are: 1. Uneven distribution of electrolyte on the lithium-ion film or the presence of line faults; 2. Rapid consumption and reduction of the number of ions in the electrolyte. The car battery, also known as a storage battery, works by converting chemical energy into electrical energy. Its maintenance methods include: 1. Avoid parking the car in an open parking lot for extended periods; if long-term parking is necessary, remove the battery and take it with you; 2. Avoid repeatedly starting the vehicle without intervals; 3. Start the car periodically to keep the battery sufficiently charged; 4. Regularly check the battery's accessories and connecting circuits; 5. Avoid using car electronics after the engine is turned off.

What car has 'keys' on the steering wheel?

Steering wheels with 'keys' are typically found in racing cars. The steering wheel is a wheel-shaped device used to control the direction of travel, and its function is to convert the force applied by the driver to the edge of the steering wheel into torque, which is then transmitted to the steering shaft. The correct way to use the steering wheel is: 1. Hold both hands symmetrically on both sides of the steering wheel, around the 9 o'clock and 3 o'clock positions; 2. Place the thumbs naturally on the inner rim of the steering wheel. Precautions for steering wheel operation include: 1. When turning the steering wheel, do it quickly and accurately return to the original position; 2. Do not apply excessive force when turning the steering wheel; 3. When driving in hazardous mountainous areas or on poor road surfaces, hold the steering wheel firmly with both hands to prevent accidents.

Does the Excelle have an ECO switch?

The Excelle has an ECO switch, which is located at the bottom left of the driver's seat. The button is marked with the letters ECO, making it easy to identify. ECO stands for the initials of three English words: Ecology, Conservation, and Optimization. It is a car energy-saving mode, and activating this mode can help save energy. The principle of ECO: ECO primarily involves making comprehensive judgments and analyses during vehicle movement regarding factors that affect fuel consumption, such as automatic transmission gear position, engine speed, vehicle speed, braking, and transmission oil temperature. The ECU control unit calculates the optimal amount of fuel to supply the engine for operation, effectively reducing fuel consumption compared to normal driving modes. Simply put, it controls the engine's speed with appropriate gear positions to minimize unnecessary fuel consumption.
