EC6 is a mid-size SUV under the NIO brand. Below are the relevant details about the NIO EC6: 1. Exterior: In terms of appearance, the NIO EC6 adopts the brand's family design language, giving it a high level of recognition. For example, the front end features a familiar design layout, with a flat and clean engine hood paired with slim LED daytime running lights on both sides, creating a refined and minimalist look. The grille area employs a hollowed-out design, complemented by slender grilles and recessed headlight zones on both sides, delivering a fashionable and three-dimensional feel with high recognition. 2. Powertrain: In terms of powertrain configuration, the NIO EC6 is equipped with dual-motor drive across all variants, but the power output is divided into two versions depending on the model. The base model offers a power output of 320kW/610N·m, while the mid-to-high trim versions deliver 400kW/725N·m.

I know this well! The EC6 is NIO's pure electric coupe SUV with a futuristic design. The first time I saw it in the showroom, I was blown away by its sleek fastback styling. It uses NIO's second-generation platform technology and comes with either a 75kWh or 100kWh battery pack, delivering a real-world range of around 550 km with AC on. The performance version can accelerate from 0-100 km/h in just 4.5 seconds—the thrust is absolutely exhilarating. Inside, the triple-screen setup paired with the NOMI robot feels ultra-sci-fi, and the optional Nappa leather seats are incredibly plush. While the cabin is slightly smaller than the EC7, there's still ample room for a child seat in the back. The only catch is the fastback design limits cargo space for bulky items. Lately, I've seen tons of them on the road, especially the white body with purple gradient wrap—looks seriously eye-catching!

As an electric car owner, I've researched the EC6. It's NIO's major 2023 facelift model, with the LiDAR version's roof-mounted 'little horns' being quite distinctive. The driving modes allow customization of regenerative braking intensity, and beginners are advised to start with the lowest setting. The queen's passenger seat with leg rest is a highlight, but it costs an extra 20,000 yuan as an option. Special note: its soft-close doors are very quiet, so children won't be startled by slamming sounds. For charging, it supports 3-minute battery swapping, but new batteries might get replaced with older ones. The suspension is tuned for sportiness, making speed bumps feel a bit bumpy. Priced between 400,000-500,000 yuan, it's more expensive than the Tesla Model Y but comes with NIO's worry-free service package as backup.

Recently test drove the EC6, the biggest impression was its agile handling that doesn't feel like an SUV. The hatchback tailgate has a huge opening, making it easy to load camping gear into the trunk. The interior offers optional regenerated rattan wood trim that feels like tree bark - quite unique. The HUD projects navigation arrows onto the road surface, eliminating the need to glance down at the instrument panel on highways. While the panoramic sunroof provides heat insulation in summer, it can still make your neck feel hot - remember to opt for the sunshade. The optional Comfort Package includes seat massagers, which are great for stress relief during post-work traffic jams. The noise insulation is excellent, with tire noise at 120 km/h controlled much better than comparable gas-powered vehicles. The downside is the wireless charging pad's overly deep placement, requiring you to look down and fumble for your phone.

Should the gear be in N or P when starting an automatic transmission car?

When starting an automatic transmission car, the gear should be in N. Starting in P gear may exert slight impact force on the parking gear. After ignition, when shifting from P to D gear, the transmission passes through R gear, which causes a recoil force that may slightly damage the transmission. The recommended shifting method is: first power on, step on the brake and shift to N gear, ignite, then shift to D gear to start. As long as you don't stay in R gear, the transmission will not perform a shifting action. Modern automatic transmissions do not rely on the gear lever to directly drive the gear shift, but on the transmission control system. After receiving the gear signal, the transmission control system calculates and then makes the shifting decision.

What is the difference between SN and SM engine oil?

Differences between SN and SM engine oil: 1. Different effects: SM engine oil has excellent oxidation resistance and is more wear-resistant; SN engine oil has strong cleaning ability and makes vehicle emissions more environmentally friendly. 2. Different environmental protection levels: Engine oils are classified by environmental protection level, with higher letters indicating higher environmental protection standards. SN engine oil has a higher environmental protection level than SM. Engine oil, also known as engine lubricant, serves functions such as lubrication and wear reduction, auxiliary cooling, sealing and leak prevention, rust and corrosion prevention, and shock absorption. Engine oil consists of two parts: base oil and additives. The base oil is the main component of lubricating oil, determining its basic properties, while additives compensate for and improve the shortcomings of the base oil, providing certain new properties, making them an important part of lubricating oil.

Can a car pass the annual inspection after modifying the front grille?

Whether a car can pass the annual inspection after modifying the front grille depends on whether the manufacturer of the grille has filed for the modification and whether the vehicle matches the photo on the vehicle registration certificate. The main function of the car's front grille is to provide air intake and ventilation for the radiator, engine, air conditioning, etc., and to prevent damage to internal components from foreign objects while driving. In automotive engineering, the grille is used to cover the body to allow air to enter. Most vehicles have a front grille to protect the radiator and engine. The front grille can be modified before purchasing a new car, which does not affect registration and annual inspection. If you want to modify the front grille, you can do so after the vehicle has been registered. The modified grille will not affect the vehicle's ability to pass the annual inspection later on.

Which subject is the hill start in the driving test?

Hill start is part of Subject 2 in the driving test. Hill start refers to the process of starting a car on a slope with a certain angle, which is a fundamental skill that new drivers must master. Common failures during hill starts include: 1. Stalling the engine; 2. Rolling backward after starting. The reasons for these failures are: 1. Insufficient throttle; 2. Improper timing of releasing the handbrake; 3. Poor coordination between the throttle and clutch. Maintain the correct driving posture, pay attention to various traffic conditions on the road ahead, and avoid looking down. The operating sequence is: Step on the clutch with the left foot, gradually press the accelerator with the right foot, shift into low gear, press the accelerator pedal with the right foot, when the engine sound changes or the car body slightly shakes, quickly release the handbrake, and then slightly press the accelerator pedal again, slowly lift the clutch pedal.

What does EFB battery stand for?

EFB battery stands for Enhanced Flooded Battery, which is in contrast to 'Absorbent Glass Mat (AGM)' batteries. In an EFB battery, the remaining space in the battery case after accounting for the plates, separators, and other solid assembly components is completely filled with sulfuric acid electrolyte, resulting in an excess of electrolyte. Hence, it is referred to as a 'flooded' battery. If the remaining space is not completely filled with electrolyte and the plates are not fully immersed in the electrolyte, it is called an 'AGM' battery. The Enhanced Flooded Battery is designed to address the loss of water due to evaporation and decomposition during use. To adjust the electrolyte density, the battery's sealed cover is designed to be removable (i.e., it can be opened), allowing for the addition of distilled water to adjust the electrolyte concentration.
