As long as the vehicle passes the annual inspection, it can continue to be driven. The vehicle scrapping age refers to a safety inspection system based on the number of seats and usage period during a car's service life. The regulations state that small and micro non-commercial passenger vehicles, large non-commercial passenger cars, and wheeled special machinery vehicles have no usage age limit. A scrapped vehicle refers to one that either meets the national scrapping standards or, even if it doesn't meet the national scrapping standards, has severe engine or chassis damage and fails to comply with the national safety technical requirements for motor vehicle operation, or fails to meet the national pollutant emission standards for motor vehicles. For vehicles that require approval procedures for extended scrapping according to regulations, the current procedures still apply; for vehicles that have already undergone extended scrapping procedures but do not meet the new scrapping standards, they will be managed as normal vehicles, with a reprinted duplicate of the vehicle license and annual inspection stamps as required, without the extended scrapping inspection approval stamp; for vehicles that should have been scrapped under the old standards but have not completed the deregistration process, the new regulations will apply.
