What is the difference between Porsche matrix headlights and standard headlights?
1 Answers
Porsche matrix headlights and standard headlights have the following differences: Different lifespan: Matrix headlights use solid-state semiconductor chips as the light-emitting material, which directly emit light through carrier recombination to generate photons. They have the advantages of long service life, high lighting brightness, and fast illumination speed; whereas standard headlights have a relatively shorter lifespan. Different configurations: Matrix LED headlights feature multiple independent lighting zones, where each zone's LED bulbs can be independently turned on, off, and have their brightness adjusted under computer control. This enables functions such as automatic headlight activation/deactivation, automatic switching between high and low beams, anti-glare high beams, and automatic adjustment of illumination height. Compared to standard headlights, matrix full-LED headlights have inherent advantages, achieving complete control over the lighting.
