What is the difference between fully synthetic oil and semi-synthetic oil?

Fully synthetic oil and semi-synthetic oil differ as follows: 1. Fully synthetic oil has a wider operating temperature range and a longer service life; in terms of oil film requirements, synthetic oil can achieve the effects of higher viscosity semi-synthetic oil with lower viscosity. 2. Semi-synthetic oil is inferior to fully synthetic oil in terms of high-temperature fluidity and viscosity. However, semi-synthetic oil performs slightly better in terms of cleaning properties. Therefore, it is not recommended for performance cars or turbocharged vehicles to use semi-synthetic oil. 3. Using semi-synthetic oil may result in insufficient engine cooling, accelerated component wear, and rapid carbon buildup.
