The differences between a spare tire and a regular tire are: 1. Different usage scenarios: Regular tires are used during normal driving; spare tires are used when a regular tire has a flat or loses air. 2. Different usage durations: Regular tires are for temporary replacement and cannot be used for long periods; spare tires can be used for extended periods. 3. Different speed requirements: Regular tires have no special speed restrictions; spare tires can only be used on non-driving wheels and must not exceed a maximum speed of 80 km/h. Tires ensure good ride comfort and smooth driving, maintain excellent adhesion between the wheels and the road, and improve the vehicle's traction, braking, and off-road capability.

I'm the type who's super passionate about cars and always love researching the differences between various tires. A spare tire, essentially a replacement tire, is usually smaller in size, designed to be lightweight and space-saving, specifically for emergency use in case of a flat. It's very unstable to drive on, with a speed limit of no more than 80 km/h, and there are distance restrictions as well. Driving too far can easily wear it out or even cause accidents. Regular tires, on the other hand, are completely different—standard-sized for daily use, offering comprehensive performance, capable of handling high speeds and long distances without issues. Their tread patterns are more durable, with significantly better grip. After switching to a spare tire, I always feel like the car is wobbling, and the noise is unbearable, so I have to rush to a repair shop to switch back to regular tires—otherwise, the safety risks are too high. If you ignore the condition of your tires for too long, you'll also waste fuel and ruin the driving experience.
