The detection method for the throttle position sensor is as follows: 1. Unplug the connector from the throttle position sensor and turn on the ignition switch; 2. Measure the voltage between VCC and the idle contact, and between VCC and the fully open throttle contact. The voltage should be between 4.5V and 5.5V; 3. If the voltage does not meet the requirements, check the ECU connection circuit. If the voltage is correct, check the throttle potentiometer resistance; 4. Unplug the throttle potentiometer connector and measure the resistance between VCC and the idle contact. It should be between 1.5kΩ and 2.6kΩ; 5. Measure the resistance between VCC and VTH. At idle, it should be between 0.75kΩ and 1.3kΩ.
