What is the defogging button in the car?

There are two defogging buttons in a car. One is for the front windshield defogging, marked with: a fan shape containing three upward wavy lines. The other is for the rear windshield defogging, marked with: a rectangle containing three upward wavy lines. In most car models, the rearview mirror heating button is the same as the rear windshield defogging button, meaning this single button controls both functions. Additionally, the following methods can be used for defogging: Using window defogging spray: Available online or at car wash places, it works well but the downside is that it costs money. Applying soapy water: Apply soapy water (do not use laundry detergent water) to the inside and outside of the front windows. Once the soapy water dries completely, the front windows will not fog up, and the effect generally lasts about a week.
