It refers to modifications made to a vehicle's appearance, power system, transmission system, or braking system that exceed the original design load capacity and functions, which are not permitted by national laws or approved by the manufacturer. This includes the replacement of key components, which is considered illegal vehicle modification. Article 16, Item 1 of the 'Road Traffic Safety Law of the People's Republic of China' stipulates that no unit or individual may assemble motor vehicles or alter the registered structure, construction, or characteristics of motor vehicles without authorization. Unauthorized modifications to the chassis, engine, suspension, transmission system, steering system, tires and rims, lights, body color painting, and exterior structure of a motor vehicle without the approval of the public security traffic management department, as well as any technical data of the motor vehicle that does not match the data announced by the competent department of motor vehicle products under the State Council, are considered modification acts. According to Article 10 of the 'Regulations on the Registration of Motor Vehicles (Order No. 124 of the Ministry of Public Security)', if a registered motor vehicle falls under any of the following circumstances, the owner shall apply to the vehicle management office at the place of registration for modification registration: Changing the body color; replacing the engine; replacing the body or frame; replacing the entire vehicle due to quality issues; changing the use nature of a commercial motor vehicle to non-commercial or vice versa; or the owner's residence moving out of or into the jurisdiction of the vehicle management office.

What does BSD mean in a car?

BSD in a car refers to the Blind Spot Detection system, which uses digital infrared cameras installed in the car's door mirrors to monitor the traffic on both sides of the vehicle, allowing for safer driving. This monitoring system alerts the driver through sound and lights when a vehicle approaches or is in the blind spot. The Blind Spot Detection system is particularly useful when changing lanes, reversing out of a parking space, driving in rainy or foggy conditions with obscured mirrors, or when driving at night with glare from headlights behind. Especially during rainy weather and nighttime driving, when the effectiveness of the rearview mirrors is reduced, the risk of traffic accidents increases significantly. Without a Blind Spot Detection system, determining whether there is a vehicle in the blind spot relies entirely on the driver's habits and experience, introducing a high degree of uncertainty and compromising driving safety.

What is the Scrap Life of an RV?

The scrap life of an RV depends on its size and passenger capacity. RVs classified as small non-commercial passenger vehicles have no scrap life limit. For medium and large non-commercial passenger RVs, the scrap life is 20 years. The scrap life for trailer RVs is 15 years. RVs, also known as 'homes on wheels,' combine the functions of both a 'house' and a 'vehicle,' but their primary attribute remains that of a vehicle—a mobile unit equipped with essential home facilities. RVs are a fashionable vehicle type introduced from abroad, featuring home amenities such as bedding, stoves, refrigerators, cabinets, sofas, dining tables and chairs, washing facilities, air conditioning, TVs, audio systems, and other furniture and electrical appliances.

How to Identify Hydraulic Cylinder Models?

You can refer to the national standard specifications, which categorize models based on usage methods, and identify hydraulic cylinder models by their bore diameter and stroke. Below is a partial introduction to hydraulic cylinders: 1. Function: CJT for 3.5Mpa, CTJ for 7Mpa, CTJ for 14Mpa, CTJ for 21Mpa, DG for vehicle hydraulic cylinders, HSG for engineering hydraulic cylinders, Y-HG1 for metallurgical equipment. 2. Configuration: The hydraulic cylinder is the most critical component of construction machinery. Traditional processing methods include: broaching the cylinder body - fine boring the cylinder body - grinding the cylinder body. The rolling method involves: broaching the cylinder body - fine boring the cylinder body - rolling the cylinder body. Time comparison: grinding a 1-meter cylinder takes approximately 1-2 days, while rolling a 1-meter cylinder takes about 10-30 minutes.
