Subject 4, also known as the Subject 4 theoretical test or driver's theoretical test, is part of the assessment for obtaining a motor vehicle driver's license. Below is an introduction to Subject 4: 1. After the implementation of the "Ministry of Public Security Order No. 139 of the People's Republic of China," the Subject 3 test was divided into two parts. In addition to the road test, a safety and civilization knowledge test was added, commonly referred to as "Subject 4," which evaluates "driving ethics." 2. Subject 4 separates the requirements related to safe and civilized driving from the original Subject 1, including safe driving skills under complex conditions and emergency handling knowledge. These are conducted after the actual road driving test of "Subject 3" to further assess the candidate's level of traffic awareness.
