The usage method of the differential lock is as follows: 1. Having driven off-road vehicles for so many years, mastering the correct use of differential locks is an essential skill for me. You must remember to manually engage it only when additional traction is needed, such as when tires are slipping or spinning while climbing muddy roads or sandy slopes. Before operating, slow down and come to a stop, then press the switch to activate it. Unlock it immediately after use, otherwise turning on dry pavement will make steering difficult and may wear out differential components. I often take beginners off-roading to practice, teaching them to observe the road: if they feel the wheels losing grip, engage the lock—safety first. Avoid keeping it locked for long periods at high speeds or on regular roads, as the drivetrain can't handle it.
