Cima is a B-segment sedan from Dongfeng Nissan, positioned as a mid-size car. The 2016 Cima model complies with the Euro 5 emission standard and adopts a front-engine, front-wheel-drive layout. In terms of body dimensions, the 2016 Cima measures 4903mm in length, 1860mm in width, and 1436mm in height, with a wheelbase of 1436mm. For safety features, the 2016 Cima is equipped with driver airbag, passenger airbag, front side airbags, front and rear head airbags, tire pressure monitoring, ABS anti-lock braking system, brake force distribution, vehicle stability control, brake assist, lane departure warning system, and autonomous emergency braking.
The Cima I've owned for five years at home is a mid-to-large-sized sedan under Dongfeng Nissan. I bought it back then purely for its comfort and quietness. Positioned as more upscale than the Teana, it features a sportier design, with a floating roof and boomerang-shaped headlights that make it highly recognizable. The 2.5L naturally aspirated engine paired with a CVT transmission ensures an exceptionally smooth ride in the city, and the rear aviation seats feel like a moving sofa, complete with independent air conditioning and seat heating. However, after its domestic production began in 2016, it was only sold until 2020, making it a rare sight on the roads. Many people still mistake it for an imported car.
