Euro 3 emission standard for vehicles corresponds to China's National III emission standard. The European standards are implemented through the emission regulations of the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE) and the emission directives of the European Community. The Euro 3 standard is an automotive exhaust emission standard established by the European Union. According to this standard, the limits for hydrocarbons, carbon monoxide, nitrogen oxides, and particulate matter in commercial vehicle exhaust are 0.66%, 2.1%, 5%, and 0.1% respectively. China's National III standard refers to the third phase of China's automotive emission standards. Vehicles meeting the National III emission standard must be equipped with an On-Board Diagnostics (OBD) system. The OBD system features increased monitoring points and enhanced detection capabilities, with oxygen sensors installed at both the inlet and outlet of the three-way catalytic converter.
