What is the bearing in the engine?

Engine bearings are the sliding bearings on the crankshaft. Composition of sliding bearings: Integral radial sliding bearings (bearing housing, integral bush, oil hole, threaded hole). Split radial sliding bearings (bearing housing, bearing cap, double-headed split threaded hole, oil hole, oil groove, split bearing shell). Thrust sliding bearings (bearing housing, thrust journal) Thrust sliding bearings are further divided into hollow type, single-ring type, and multi-ring type. These three types of sliding bearings are typically used in high-speed and heavy-load applications. Applications of sliding bearings: Sliding bearings are mainly used in low-speed and heavy-load applications. For example: in engineering machinery, marine equipment, hydraulic engineering, aerospace, railway, and other fields. Compared with rolling bearings, sliding bearings have the characteristics of high load capacity, good shock resistance, stable and reliable operation, low noise, and long service life.
