The battery model for the Jetour X70 Plus key is a CR2032 coin cell battery. It can be replaced by yourself, but be careful not to touch the internal circuits and electronic connectors during the replacement process. The key has three function buttons: lock, open the trunk, and start. Additionally, it has the function to lower all four car windows by long-pressing the unlock button. Similarly, if you need to raise all four windows, long-press the lock button. Method to replace the key battery: Turn the car remote key to the back, and you will see the back cover divided into two parts. The side with the key ring has the battery underneath the back cover. There is a gap on the side of the key, both near the key ring and on the side of the key. Insert a flat-head screwdriver into the gap and gently push upward to partially open the back cover. Move the screwdriver along the gap to both sides to gradually widen the gap. You can then fully open the back cover by moving it in the closing direction with your hand to remove it and see the inside of the battery. The protruding clip on one side of the battery can be used to slide the battery out from the other side. Insert the new battery into the car remote key in the opposite direction of removal. Solution for lost car keys: If you lose your car key, the best solution is to replace all the locks on the car, including the door locks and trunk lock. This is undoubtedly the most thorough, safest, and worry-free method, but it is also relatively more expensive.

Where is the motorcycle air filter located?

The motorcycle air filter is located inside the fairing beneath the front of the bike. Air filter structure: Most underbone motorcycles use a wet-type filter element, which is the sponge you remove. The air filter consists of an intake pipe and an outlet pipe. The intake pipe connects to an air intake box, which is linked to the hollow engine mounting frame. Function of the air filter: It reduces the amount of dust entering the air intake box from the air, ensuring cleaner air flows from the intake box into the air filter. It filters out dust and sand particles from the air, guaranteeing sufficient and clean air enters the cylinder. Air filter replacement: If the filter element is dirty, it can be cleaned with laundry detergent or dish soap, then air-dried. Apply a small amount of engine oil on the intake side to enhance dust filtration. Never clean the sponge with gasoline, as this will cause it to expand, reduce its density, and lose its filtering effectiveness.

Will I Get Penalized for Driving with Daytime Running Lights at Night?

No penalty, but it poses safety hazards. The function of daytime running lights: Using daytime running lights during daytime driving can reduce traffic accidents by 12.4% and lower the probability of fatal crashes by 26.4%. In reality, daytime running lights have indeed improved road safety, especially in areas with heavy fog, smog, or poor visibility, which are common in some parts of our country. Hazards of using daytime running lights at night: It is not advisable to use daytime running lights at night. On one hand, unlike headlights, daytime running lights do not provide illumination. If you don't turn on your headlights in dark areas, it will not only affect oncoming and preceding vehicles, but the seemingly bright daytime running lights will make it appear as if no lights are on for those inside the car. If the purpose of using daytime running lights at night is to show off, it is irresponsible to both yourself and others. Proper use of vehicle lights ensures driving safety.

Why Doesn't the Manual Transmission Gear Shift Feel Smooth?

There are reasons why the gear shift in a manual transmission car doesn't feel smooth. Transmission Factors: When shifting gears in a manual transmission vehicle, it might be due to insufficient or deteriorated transmission oil, a design issue with the transmission, problems with the clutch pressure plate, or wear on the bottom gear synchronizer ring. Human Factors: If the operation is incorrect, the gear shift may also lack a smooth feel. For example, incorrect timing during gear shifting or not fully depressing the clutch pedal. Gear Shifting Principle: During gear shifting, the input shaft changes, transmitting through the intermediate shaft, and finally outputting to the differential via the output shaft. When the differential moves, the tires move accordingly. Solutions: Inspect and repair the transmission, add appropriate engine oil, and drive frequently to break in the vehicle for optimal driving performance.

What Does It Mean When the Engine Warning Light Comes On?

The engine warning light may illuminate due to the following 7 main reasons: Sensor malfunction: This includes sensors such as coolant temperature, crankshaft position, air flow, intake temperature, and oxygen sensors. When these sensors are damaged, have poor connections, or experience signal interruptions, the vehicle's ECU cannot accurately obtain engine data, triggering the warning light. Fuel/oil quality issues: Failure to use fuel and engine oil as specified by the manufacturer may cause engine wear, leading to the warning light activation. Poor air-fuel mixture combustion: This can result in engine carbon buildup or knocking. When detected by oxygen sensors and reported to the ECU, the warning light will illuminate. Causes include spark plug failure, ignition coil issues, fuel pump malfunction, or fuel line blockages. Turbocharger problems: Issues with intake boost pipes or turbochargers (especially turbocharger damage) may trigger the light, accompanied by symptoms like oil leaks, excessive oil consumption, power loss, metallic noises, or blue/black exhaust smoke. Air intake issues: Blocked engine pipes due to intake problems (often caused by dirty air filters not cleaned regularly) can activate the warning light. Exhaust system faults: Problems with post-oxygen sensors, catalytic converters, exhaust camshafts, or bearings (most commonly catalytic converter failure) may illuminate the light. Causes include using leaded gasoline, lead/silicon-based lubricant additives, physical damage to the converter, or fuel system issues. Anti-theft system malfunction: If the electronic anti-theft system fails or doesn't match the engine ECU, it may prevent normal engine operation while activating the warning light. When the engine light comes on, follow these steps: First check if the engine operates normally. If there's shaking, black smoke, etc., avoid restarting (never restart if the red warning light is on). If restart is possible, wait 5-10 minutes after turning off, then power on without pressing brakes (press start button or turn key halfway to 'ON' position). After 5-10 seconds of self-check, observe if the warning light turns off. If the light persists, visit a service center immediately. Technicians can read fault codes with diagnostic tools for targeted repairs.

Why does the engine fault light come on after a jump start?

After a jump start, the engine fault light comes on because the car battery is low on power. Even after jump-starting the car battery, many electronic control components on the engine still lack sufficient voltage, which can trigger the engine fault light. If no other issues are found, visiting a 4S store for decoding can resolve the problem. Locate the batteries of both vehicles: First, locate the batteries of both vehicles and ensure the rescue vehicle is turned off. Connect the jumper cables: Use jumper cables to connect the positive terminals of both vehicle batteries. After connecting, attach one end to the negative terminal of the rescue vehicle's battery and the other end to the engine block of the vehicle being rescued. Start the rescue vehicle: After ensuring the jumper cables are correctly connected, start the rescue vehicle first, then start the vehicle being rescued. Disconnect after success Once the rescued vehicle starts successfully, the jumper cables can be disconnected.

What Are the Must-Have Items for Motorcycles?

Motorcycle must-have items include a motorcycle helmet, riding suit, and riding boots. Motorcycle Helmet: It is a head protection device designed for motorcycle riders and passengers. The primary purpose of this helmet is to protect the rider's head during impacts, preventing or reducing injuries and even saving the rider's life. Riding Suit: Common riding suits are generally categorized into road riding suits, adventure suits, and racing suits. A riding suit can cover up to 90% of the rider's body. The two most important factors when choosing a riding suit are comfort and fit. Only when it fits properly can it effectively protect the rider in the event of a fall. Otherwise, it may easily shift during a crash, reducing its protective capabilities. Riding Boots: In the event of an accident, riding boots can protect the lower legs, ankles, and toes, providing comprehensive foot protection.
