What is the appropriate tire pressure for Lexus UX?
1 Answers
The normal tire pressure range for Lexus UX is 2.4-2.5 bar. Due to seasonal factors, the tire pressure can be appropriately increased by 0.2 bar in winter and reduced by 0.1 bar in summer. The Lexus UX tire pressure monitoring is displayed on the left side of the instrument panel's trip computer screen. By selecting the tire pressure monitoring interface via the steering wheel buttons, the display will show the current tire pressure. If an abnormality is displayed, driving the vehicle for a few minutes will allow the system to automatically reset and read the tire pressure. If the tire pressure monitoring indicator light comes on (a yellow symbol featuring an irregular circle without a seal on top, with four small spikes at the bottom and an exclamation mark inside), there are generally three possible reasons: 1. Abnormal tire pressure. The system typically alerts when the pressure is below 1.8 bar or above 3.0 bar. In this case, tire inspection and pressure adjustment are required. 2. Tire pressure monitoring not reset. After inflating the tires, if the tire pressure reset is not performed promptly, the system may still record the previous data, causing the tire pressure monitoring indicator to light up. Simply performing a tire pressure reset will resolve this. 3. Damaged tire pressure sensor. The tire pressure sensor, which monitors tire pressure, is directly installed inside the tire and connected to the tire inflation valve. If the sensor is damaged during driving (e.g., by hitting an obstacle), the tire pressure fault light will illuminate. For sensor damage issues, the only solution is to replace it with a new component.
