What is the appropriate headlight height setting?

Generally, the headlight height should be set to position 0. The adjustment knob is usually located on the left side of the dashboard, near the light control switch. The knob has numbers ranging from 0 to 3, with higher numbers indicating lower height. Position 0 is the default setting, representing level height, suitable for when the front seats are occupied and the trunk is empty. Positions 1 to 3 are suitable for when the vehicle is fully loaded with passengers or cargo. The height of a car is not fixed; when fully loaded or empty, the vehicle's height changes due to suspension travel, which requires adjusting the headlight height accordingly to ensure driving safety, especially at night.
