The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) provides an estimated range of approximately 410 kilometers for the standard range version of the Geely Geometry A, while the long-range version offers a range of 500 kilometers according to MIIT data. Additional details about the Geely Geometry A are as follows: 1. The Geometry A is a pure electric vehicle. This model is a single-motor variant, with the electric motor delivering a maximum power of 120 kW and a maximum torque of 250 Nm. 2. The Geometry A is equipped with ternary lithium batteries across all variants. Most pure electric vehicles utilize ternary lithium batteries due to their higher energy density and lighter weight. 3. The front suspension of the Geometry A employs a MacPherson independent suspension, while the rear suspension uses a torsion beam non-independent suspension. The MacPherson independent suspension is widely used due to its simple structure, low cost, and compact size. It features only an L-shaped control arm, which minimally occupies engine compartment space. The torsion beam non-independent suspension also has a simple structure, small size, and minimal space occupation, which helps to expand rear passenger space and trunk capacity.

I've been driving the Geely Geometry A for almost half a year, and range has always been a point of concern. The official WLTC range is around 430 to 480 kilometers, but in actual city driving without air conditioning or heating, I can get about 380 to 420 kilometers. When cruising at 120 km/h on the highway, the range drops more significantly, probably just over 350 kilometers. Winter is the most power-consuming season with the heater on, reducing the range to around 330 kilometers. Summer is better, as using the AC has a smaller impact. Driving habits also matter—smooth acceleration and deceleration without stomping on the pedal can add dozens of kilometers. Charging habits affect battery life; I mostly use slow charging and feel the range was better when the car was new. Overall, the daily practical range fluctuates between 360 and 400 kilometers, making it suitable for commuting or short weekend trips.

I usually enjoy researching electric vehicle technology and have specifically tested the real-world range of the Geometry A several times. The official rating is around 480 kilometers, but there are many influencing factors in actual driving. For example, driving normally in the city with the air conditioning on immediately reduces the range to under 400 kilometers; driving at 110 km/h on the highway brings the range down to around 350 kilometers. Temperature changes have a significant impact—in winter at around zero degrees, the range might drop to just 350 kilometers, and in summer at 30 degrees with the AC on, the battery drains quickly. I also experimented with the energy recovery system, setting it to a high level—it recovers energy when going downhill, slightly extending the range. Fast charging doesn’t help much with range but is convenient. Overall, the actual range fluctuates significantly, averaging between 370 and 420 kilometers, so these variables should be considered when buying the car.

Is the Mistra an A-segment or B-segment car?

The Mistra is an A-segment car. Purely from the perspective of wheelbase, the Mistra's 2770mm wheelbase does meet the standard of a B-segment car. However, current car classifications are more detailed, and to be precise, the Mistra belongs to the A+ segment. A-segment cars, also known as compact cars, typically have a body length between 4.3 meters and 4.79 meters, a wheelbase between 2.35 meters and 2.79 meters, and an engine displacement between 1.4 liters and 2.0 liters. Taking the Beijing Hyundai Mistra 2021 1.8L CVT LUX Premium Edition as an example: this car has a length, width, and height of 4780mm, 1815mm, and 1460mm respectively, with a wheelbase of 2770mm. It is a 4-door, 5-seater sedan with a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission.

What to Do If a Financed Car Is Scrapped?

First, report to the police, and the traffic police will determine the accident liability and issue an accident liability certificate. The insurance company will process the claim for the scrapped vehicle based on the accident liability certificate, and the disposal of the vehicle will be decided by the insurance company. Since the subject matter has been lost, negotiate with the lending bank for early loan repayment during the claims process.

How to Adjust the Left and Right Rearview Mirrors?

The edge of the car body should occupy 1/4 of the entire rearview mirror image, with the rest of the view taking up the majority. The sky should occupy half, and the ground the other half. For the right rearview mirror, leave a larger portion of the ground when adjusting the up and down positions, approximately 2/3 of the mirror surface. Same as the left side, the car body should occupy 1/4 of the mirror surface. You should just be able to see (the rear window) and clearly view objects through it, with the sky and ground each occupying about 1/2.
