I've been driving my Edge for over a year, with actual measured ground clearance around 160mm - this height works great for daily use. Mostly driving in urban areas, speed bumps feel smooth with minimal jolts, and the visibility is significantly better than sedans. When encountering rough terrain like picnic trips to the countryside, the 160mm clearance handles it easily without scraping the undercarriage. Comparatively, some low-clearance SUVs struggle much more with obstacles. Recommend maintaining standard tire pressure as it slightly affects clearance height. Also note the rear suspension dips slightly when loading heavy items in the trunk, but remains fully functional under normal conditions.
