What is the actual fuel consumption of the Mondeo Zhisheng 2.0t?

The fuel consumption of the 2.0t model is approximately 10.4 liters per 100 kilometers. The second-generation Mondeo is equipped with 1.8L and 2.0L Duratec engines, no longer using the ZETEC engine, and the 1.6L displacement model has been discontinued. Here are some tips to reduce fuel consumption: 1. Ensure the tire pressure is correct. The pressure should not be too high or too low, as both can increase fuel consumption. Regularly check the tire pressure to avoid affecting driving fuel consumption. Switch to fuel-efficient tires. Some brands of tires can reduce resistance and save a certain amount of gasoline. 2. Avoid changing the size of the tires. Wider tires increase resistance. Unless there is a special requirement for good grip, overly wide tires will only increase fuel consumption. Regularly check if the steering wheel and tires are properly aligned, as misalignment can also increase fuel consumption.
After driving my Mondeo Zhisheng 2.0T for five and a half years, the most genuine experience is that fuel consumption really depends on how you drive. During daily city commuting in traffic jams, it once peaked at 13.5 liters, especially during rush hour when crawling in traffic which is particularly fuel-intensive. On weekends, highway driving is much more economical, with cruise control at 100 km/h bringing it down to 7.8 liters. This car gets particularly sensitive once the RPM exceeds 2000; flooring it gives strong acceleration but instantly adds 2 liters to the fuel consumption. Running the AC in summer increases consumption by about 0.8 liters, and a trunk full of camping gear also adds to the fuel usage. Long-term tracking with Xiaoxiong Fuel shows an actual combined consumption fluctuating between 9.6-11.2 liters, significantly higher than the official 8.3-liter figure.
