I've been driving the GL8 Land Business Class for two years, mostly shuttling clients around the city. The fuel consumption spikes when there are many traffic lights, reaching around 13L in summer with AC on during traffic jams. It's quite fuel-efficient on highways though, maintaining about 7.5L at a steady 100 km/h cruise control. The vehicle weighs 1.9 tons, and with a full load of 7 passengers, its fuel consumption is naturally higher than sedans. I've noticed driving habits make a big difference - colleagues who accelerate and brake aggressively burn about 1L more fuel than me in the same model. With current high fuel prices, I've developed habits like anticipating road conditions, gently pressing the accelerator when starting, and coasting before traffic lights. Keeping the combined fuel consumption under 11L is quite satisfactory for me.
