What is the actual fuel consumption of BYD Qin?

BYD Qin's official comprehensive fuel consumption given by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology is 1.6L/100km. More information about BYD Qin is as follows: 1. BYD Qin is a high-performance sedan independently developed by BYD Co., Ltd., featuring the second-generation DM technology (switching between pure electric and hybrid modes). Since partnering with Germany's Daimler, BYD's vehicle manufacturing craftsmanship has significantly improved. 2. BYD Qin is equipped with BYD's self-developed mobile power station technology, allowing the vehicle to convert into a standard two/three-hole power strip via an adapter device, enabling external 220V AC power discharge directly from the vehicle's battery.
Having driven the BYD Qin for so long, I'm really impressed by its actual fuel consumption. I mainly commute in the city, and a full charge can usually last about 120 kilometers. I hardly ever use the fuel mode, so the fuel consumption is almost zero. Occasionally, when I go on long trips and use the hybrid mode, the combined fuel consumption is between 4.5 to 5 liters per 100 kilometers—for example, last month I went on a suburban trip, a round trip of 200 kilometers, and used less than 10 liters of fuel. Compared to my old fuel car, which easily consumed 8 liters, this is much more economical. The key to fuel efficiency is charging frequency: charging regularly and relying mainly on electricity keeps fuel consumption extremely low. Once the battery is empty and relying solely on fuel, it’s slightly less efficient, but avoiding sudden acceleration and maintaining a steady speed can bring it down to below 4 liters. Overall, this car’s fuel efficiency control is quite impressive—both cost-saving and eco-friendly.
