SUVs and MPVs with 7 seats or more do not qualify for the 6-year exemption policy. 2. Vehicles registered for over 6 years: Vehicles registered for over 6 years are subject to an annual inspection policy; vehicles registered for over 15 years are subject to a semi-annual inspection policy. 3. Operational passenger vehicles: Operational passenger vehicles registered within 5 years are inspected annually; those registered for over 5 years are inspected every 6 months. 4. Trucks: Trucks and medium/large non-operational passenger vehicles are inspected annually for the first 10 years; those over 10 years old are inspected every 6 months. 5. Inspection date: The inspection date is the month of vehicle registration, and inspections can be conducted up to 3 months in advance. For example, a vehicle registered in May can be inspected in March, April, or May. 6. Vehicles eligible for annual exemption: Vehicles eligible for annual exemption can complete the inspection online without visiting the vehicle management office. After verifying compulsory traffic insurance through the internet traffic safety service platform, the exemption label can be directly applied for online, eliminating the need for in-person visits or driving license endorsements, with the label delivered by mail.
