What is LB car?

LB is a famous Japanese car modification factory, whose full name is Libertywalk LB Performance. It was founded in 2005, and its president is Wataru Kato. The factory now adopts the popular LibertyWalk style, which has gained numerous fans worldwide. All parts are highly sought after due to their strong appeal and are greatly favored by car owners. Car modification refers to the alteration of the external appearance, interior design, and mechanical performance of the original car manufactured by the automaker, according to the needs of the car owner. It mainly includes two types: body modification and power modification.
In the car community, LB usually has two possible meanings. The most commonly seen on the road is the Lexus LBX. This model was just launched last year as an entry-level luxury SUV, slightly smaller than the UX, making it particularly suitable for navigating urban areas. It has become a new favorite among young people on Japanese streets, with its 1.5-liter hybrid engine delivering impressive fuel efficiency—truly a sweet deal. A few days ago, while getting my car serviced at the dealership, a new owner in the next parking spot was praising its lightweight steering wheel to the salesperson. Recognizing it is easy—look for the LBX badge on the rear and the classic Lexus spindle grille on the front. However, be aware that the low-power version of the BMW 1 Series is also abbreviated as LB, though this term is rarely used in China.
