What is guide rail oil?
1 Answers
Guide rail oil is a specialized lubricating oil for guide rails, also known as guide rail hydraulic oil. It is commonly used in mechanical equipment components made of high-carbon steel and bearing steel materials. It helps reduce wear and friction between mechanical parts and provides functions such as rust prevention, oxidation resistance, lubrication, and adhesion. The physical state of guide rail oil is: liquid, light yellow, with a fatty oil odor, soluble in most organic solvents, and insoluble in water. Guide rail oil is formulated from highly refined paraffin base oil and carefully selected anti-emulsification additives. Characteristics of guide rail oil: 1. Low wear rate, extending the service life of hydraulic components; 2. Excellent exhaust performance, along with good filterability, hydrolysis stability, and corrosion resistance.
