The main causes of gear shifting vibration are severe engine carbon deposits and issues with the vehicle's ignition system. Severe Engine Carbon Deposits: The most common cause of gear shifting vibration is excessive dirt in the throttle body or carbon buildup in the fuel injectors. When there is too much carbon deposit inside the engine, the gasoline sprayed by the cold start injector is largely absorbed by the carbon deposits, resulting in an overly lean air-fuel mixture during cold starts and making it difficult to start the engine. In this situation, the engine will only start easily once the carbon deposits have absorbed enough gasoline to reach saturation. After starting, the gasoline adsorbed on the carbon deposits is then drawn into the combustion chamber by the engine's vacuum suction, making the air-fuel mixture too rich. This fluctuation between lean and rich mixtures causes the engine to vibrate. Ignition System Issues: Check the condition of the spark plugs, high-voltage wires, and ignition coils. Poor performance in the ignition system or inadequate spark plug firing can also lead to such symptoms.
