Car repair is a general term for car maintenance and repair. It involves troubleshooting faulty cars through technical means, identifying the cause of the fault, and taking certain measures to eliminate the fault and restore the car to a certain level of performance and safety standards. Car repair includes major repairs and minor repairs. Major car repair refers to the method of repairing or replacing any part of the car (including basic components) to restore the car's technical condition and fully (or nearly fully) restore its lifespan. Minor car repair refers to the operational repair method of replacing or repairing individual parts to ensure or restore the car's working capability. Daily car maintenance: Daily car maintenance is performed by the driver before, during, and after driving. Before driving, the driver should inspect the car to check if the lighting devices are damaged, if the body is tilted, if there are any leaks such as oil or water, check the condition of the tires, doors, engine hood, trunk lid, and windows. Turn the ignition key to check the warning lights and indicators, start the engine to see if the warning lights turn off normally; check if the indicators light up normally; check the fuel gauge and refuel if necessary. Weekly car maintenance: Check the fastening of engine attachments, inspect for oil or water leaks at engine joints; adjust the belt tension, check the fixing of pipelines and wires, top up engine oil; check and replenish coolant; check and replenish electrolyte, check and replenish power steering oil; clean the radiator surface; top up windshield washer fluid, etc. Clean the exterior of the car; clean the interior.
