"Blue Sky Rescue Team" is a professional, independent, and purely non-profit emergency rescue organization in China, established in 2007. Its Chinese name is Blue Sky Rescue, and its full English name is BLUESKYRESCUE (abbreviated as BSR). Blue Sky Rescue has established brand-authorized rescue teams in 31 provinces, municipalities, and autonomous regions across China, with over 50,000 registered volunteers nationwide. Among them, more than 10,000 volunteers have undergone professional rescue training and certification, ready to respond to various emergency rescues at any time. On September 12, 2014, two Burmese university students who were climbing Mount Hkakabo Razi, the highest peak in Myanmar, went missing. Myanmar sought assistance from China. During the search and rescue operation, an EC130 helicopter from the Burmese side lost contact in the primeval forest. A second request for help was made to the Chinese Blue Sky Rescue Team. In total, the Blue Sky Rescue Team dispatched 32 members and over 50 support personnel for the two rescue missions, achieving significant social impact in Myanmar, showcasing the humanitarian spirit of rescue, and bringing honor to the country! On August 5, 2015, the Chinese Embassy in Myanmar convened a coordination meeting for humanitarian assistance to the Myanmar floods, calling on Chinese enterprises in Myanmar to actively participate in the rescue efforts. At the same time, as the first international rescue team to arrive in Myanmar since the floods began, the first batch of 10 members from the Chinese Blue Sky Rescue Team urgently headed to the severely affected areas of Sagaing Region on the 5th.
