What is Automotive Voice Control?
1 Answers
Automotive voice control is a feature where the driver activates voice control functionality, and the vehicle recognizes the driver's spoken commands to execute them. The introduction of voice control allows drivers to keep both hands on the steering wheel and their eyes on the road, thereby enhancing driving safety. The voice navigation function enables navigation by verbally stating the destination, and frequently used destinations can be set as scenarios. For example, setting a route home requires only a voice command like 'Go home,' and the system will automatically plan the route. Voice navigation is indeed highly practical, especially in urban areas with heavy traffic and complex road networks, where its effectiveness is more pronounced. However, the voice recognition accuracy of some vehicles still needs improvement, as regional dialects vary and voice recognition may not always be precise.
