A vehicle recall is a process conducted by the manufacturer of defective automotive products to eliminate product defects in accordance with legal requirements and procedures. According to the "Regulations on the Recall of Defective Automotive Products": Article 19: For defective automotive products subject to recall, the manufacturer shall promptly take corrective measures such as modification, supplementary labeling, repair, replacement, or refund to eliminate the defects. The manufacturer shall bear the costs of eliminating the defects and the necessary transportation expenses for the defective automotive products. Article 24: If a manufacturer violates the provisions of these regulations and falls under any of the following circumstances, the product quality supervision department shall order corrections and impose a fine ranging from 1% to 10% of the value of the defective automotive products; any illegal gains shall be confiscated; if the circumstances are serious, the licensing authority shall revoke the relevant licenses.
