What is a Smart Key?
1 Answers
Smart key is a key that uses infrared signals to unlock one or two car doors, the trunk, and the fuel tank cap, and can also control the car's windows and sunroof. Analysis of smart key functions: Smart keys can be divided into two parts: the entry system and the start system. However, most keyless entry systems include the start function, with only a few car models having the entry function alone. The smart entry system employs advanced RFID technology. RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) is a non-contact automatic identification technology that automatically identifies target objects and retrieves relevant data through radio frequency signals. The identification process requires no manual intervention and can operate in various harsh environments. Usage precautions: When the vehicle fails to recognize the smart key, it may be due to a dead battery in the remote, the vehicle being near interference sources like signal towers, or issues with the smart remote system, requiring repair at a 4S shop. When the smart key runs out of battery, inserting it into the designated slot will allow the vehicle to detect the key's presence and start the engine.
