What is a Pure Electric Vehicle?

Pure Electric Vehicle refers to a passenger vehicle that uses on-board batteries as the power output, drives the wheels with electric motors, and meets all the requirements of road traffic, safety regulations, and national standards. Due to its environmental friendliness and relatively lower energy consumption compared to traditional fuel-powered vehicles, its prospects are widely optimistic, but it is not yet very popular and is in the development stage. The components of a pure electric vehicle include: the electric drive and control system, mechanical systems such as the drive force transmission, and working devices to complete set tasks. The electric drive and control system is the core of an electric vehicle and the biggest difference from internal combustion engine vehicles. The power source of a pure electric vehicle is entirely provided by the on-board battery. If the battery is depleted, the vehicle cannot run and needs to be charged using a charging station.
