Position lamps, also known as clearance lamps, serve the purpose of allowing other drivers to judge the size and width of the vehicle ahead during dusk driving. When the light switch is turned to the first position, the small lamps that illuminate at the front and rear are the position lamps (also referred to as dusk driving lamps, which are turned on when it is not completely dark; the next position after the position lamps is the low beam, while the high beam refers to the main headlights). High and low beams are commonly known as headlights, which, as the eyes of the car, are closely related to safe driving at night or under bad weather conditions. The angle of the high beam is too high, easily dazzling the eyes of oncoming vehicles and pedestrians around, and it is considered an impolite driving behavior.
