Parking assist system refers to a device that can detect obstacles beyond the driver's field of vision and notify the driver of the distance between the vehicle and the obstacles through certain signals. The working principle is as follows: the ultrasonic detection signals emitted by the ultrasonic sensors embedded in the front and rear bumpers will be reflected when encountering obstacles. After the sensors receive the reflected signals, they will promptly feed them back to the system for distance calculation and alert the driver through sound or video. The reasons for the parking assist system to stop functioning include: 1. The use of a temporary spare tire; 2. Damage to the sensor or bumper; 3. The sensor is blocked by components installed on the vehicle; 4. The vehicle is used to transport loads exceeding its capacity.
