What is a Mirage tire?

Mirage is a Mitsubishi tire. Tires are rubber products. If cracks or signs of aging appear on the tire sidewalls, they should be replaced promptly. Functions of tires: 1. Transmit driving force, braking force, and steering force to enable vehicle operation; 2. Support vehicle load; 3. Reduce and absorb vibrations and impact forces during vehicle operation. Precautions for tire replacement: 1. Identify the correct orientation of the tire; 2. Choose tires that meet quality standards; 3. Replace the valve stem simultaneously; 4. Determine the installation direction; 5. Install new tires on the rear axle of the vehicle; 6. Avoid sudden braking after installing new tires; 7. Remove screws diagonally when removing the tire; 8. Perform a four-wheel alignment when replacing tires.
I've been driving for over a decade and have changed to Kumho Tires' Mirage series several times. The biggest features of this budget-friendly tire are its wear resistance and fuel efficiency, making it particularly suitable for city commuting. Two years ago, I replaced all four tires on my Corolla with these, and they've covered over 40,000 kilometers so far with more than half of the tread remaining. The wet grip performance is also commendable; I didn't experience any slipping during typhoon weather on elevated roads last year. However, the cornering support on mountain roads is just average, and road noise becomes noticeable above 60 km/h. If you're mainly using it for daily commuting and prioritize durability and affordability, this tire's cost-performance ratio is indeed unbeatable.
