Hydrogen-powered vehicles, as the name suggests, are automobiles that use hydrogen as their primary fuel for movement. Conventional internal combustion engines typically use diesel or gasoline as their main fuel, whereas hydrogen-powered vehicles utilize gaseous hydrogen as their primary energy source, replacing the traditional engine with a hydrogen fuel cell. Advantages of Hydrogen-Powered Vehicles: There are numerous benefits to using hydrogen as fuel, the most notable being its environmental cleanliness. Hydrogen combustion produces water, which does not pollute the environment. Additionally, the heat generated during hydrogen combustion is higher than that of gasoline, making these two advantages particularly prominent. Vehicles powered by hydrogen have a long driving range and an extended lifespan. Disadvantages of Hydrogen-Powered Vehicles: The cost of operating such vehicles is quite high, as driving a hydrogen-powered car requires 80% of the energy consumption. From an energy-saving and consumption-reducing perspective, these hydrogen-powered vehicles do not meet the standards.
