What is a China III Vehicle?

China III refers to the emission standard. A China III vehicle means the vehicle meets the China III emission standard. Currently, 4S shops no longer sell China III vehicles. 1. Most regions in China have implemented the China VI emission standard. This means that in these regions, vehicles with emission standards lower than China VI cannot be registered, and naturally, they cannot be driven on the road. 2. The remaining regions are implementing the China V emission standard. In these areas, vehicles with emission standards lower than China V cannot be registered. 3. The government has not issued any mandatory retirement policy for China III vehicles, meaning as long as a China III vehicle passes the annual inspection, it can be driven normally on the road. 4. The full name of China III is China's Third Stage Vehicle Emission Standard, which is equivalent to the Euro III emission standard.
