What is a Brake Pedal?

Brake Pedal, as the name suggests, is a pedal that restricts power and is used for deceleration and stopping. The operating essentials of the car brake pedal are as follows: 1. Slow braking: Press the clutch pedal, simultaneously release the accelerator pedal, shift the gear lever to the low-speed gear position, then lift the clutch pedal, quickly place the right foot on the brake pedal, and gradually press the brake pedal according to the required speed and stopping distance until the car comes to a halt. 2. Emergency braking: Emergency braking is further divided into emergency braking at medium-low speeds and emergency braking at high speeds. 3. Combined braking: With the gear lever in gear, release the accelerator pedal, use the engine speed to drag and reduce the speed, while pressing the brake pedal to apply wheel braking. This method of deceleration, which relies on engine drag and wheel brake braking, is called combined braking.
