In Subject 3, the vehicle inspection begins after receiving the examiner's instruction. When passing the front and rear of the vehicle, there will be voice prompts such as "Passing the front of the vehicle," "Passing the rear of the vehicle," and "Please get in the car to start the test." The student needs to walk around the vehicle counterclockwise from the right side of the vehicle to complete the inspection. Additional information: Subject 3 test mnemonic: 1. Getting in the car: First gear, turn signal, horn, check left rearview mirror, release handbrake, start moving. 2. Driving: Turn off the turn signal, check left and right rearview mirrors. 3. Intersections, turns, and U-turns: Decelerate and downshift. Release the throttle, press the clutch and brake, then downshift. 4. Pulling over: Release the throttle, press the clutch and brake, pull over, engage handbrake, shift to neutral, turn signal.

I remember when I was taking the third driving test, the instructor repeatedly emphasized this detail. Don't rush to get in the car before boarding. The safety officer will ask you to stand outside the driver's door first to record your attendance. After he calls out 'Identity verification successful,' he will then say 'Please start the exam.' Upon hearing these six words, act immediately! Walk half a circle against the direction of the rear of the car, passing through the four sensor areas at the front and rear of the car. At our training ground, people often miss pressing the rear button, resulting in failing the test right after starting. There was also a trainee who habitually pulled the door handle while circling the car and was directly judged by the system as not having circled the car. Actually, the safest method is to prepare to press the first button as soon as you hear the word 'Please.'

The vehicle inspection command in Subject 3 is particularly prone to confusion. After the test vehicle issues the 'Prepare to board' voice command, it will immediately follow with a clear instruction 'Please begin the vehicle inspection by walking around the car'. Note that this does not mean you should get into the car; instead, you must immediately walk counterclockwise to press the radar buttons. In some regions, the test vehicle's buttons are located under the right rearview mirror, requiring you to bend down to reach them. I've personally seen female candidates unable to squat due to overly tight skirts, so it's advisable to wear loose clothing for the test. The inspection speed should be controlled to take more than 5 seconds; walking too fast may trigger a system misjudgment. Finally, you must wait to hear the device announce 'A candidate is passing the right rear side' before opening the door.

The only command to initiate the vehicle walk-around is 'Please begin the test'. After that, three actions must be performed: first, complete the route around the front and rear of the vehicle counterclockwise; second, press the button firmly until a red light flashes; third, check if all doors are securely closed. In practice, many candidates start walking without clearly hearing the instructions, or are suddenly stopped by the examiner midway. Remember to verify the button's sensitivity before the test—in our test center, one vehicle's rear radar was faulty for three months before being repaired.
